Recognized for work I led at Price Waterhouse to radically streamline the Procurement processes at the Department of Veterans Affairs and better leverage purchasing power across previously siloed buying functions. The agency saved $22.5 million in the first three years alone.
Although it was many years ago, I'm still very proud of this recognition from my brothers at the Iota Zeta chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha. It was my year as president of the chapter that I first realized I had the potential to be an effective leader, and that I enjoyed leading. I received the award my senior year for contributions made to the chapter, including leadership, fundraising, and campus ambassadorship.
